As part of the commemoration of the 456 years of the City of Caracas, Mayor A/J Carmen Meléndez led a solemn session, where she thanked the People’s Power for its commitment, which, along with the work of government institutions, are in charge of keeping alive the history of the capital city.
Likewise, the mayoress described as satisfactory and dynamic the efforts made by her together with the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, who travel every day through each parish of the capital to carry out joint work in favor of the people of Caracas.
The mayor expressed feeling prepared to write new pages in the history of the capital city together with the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who also works in an organized manner through the 1×10 System of Good Governance, a method that allows the people to keep in direct contact with government authorities.
