The multiproductive Venezuela invites international investors to grow and export food to the world

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, invited investors from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Iran, Turkey and other nations of the world, to come and produce (in) the rich and fertile Venezuelan fields, to make good win-win deals and grow food to export to those countries that may require them:

“Venezuela can export food to the Middle East, and now to Colombia,” said the Head of State from Mesa de Guanipa in Monagas, where he showed the potential of a Brazilian businessman, who managed to start agricultural production on more than 25,000 hectares in Finca Terragona, with its Ouro Branco company.

I am pleased and happy to be here, today Productive Wednesday, seeing how Venezuela is heading and making progress in terms of food production, growth and economic diversification. A multi-productive, diversified Venezuela, with new dynamics, a new Venezuela, of work and prosperity”, he said, as he toured the fields planted with soybeans, white and yellow corn, which has a unique irrigation system in Latin America.

We are in a good productive year, thanks to God and Virgin Mary and to the hands of the peasant men and women. We are in a good productive year and visualizing the horizon 2023 to 2024: Venezuela (as a) producer and exporter of food”, said the President, accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, and Governor Ernesto Lunas, who showed the production of soybeans, an item that allows (to produce) food for animal farming.

Minister Castro Soteldo reported that 15 international investment groups have come to Venezuela and to Monagas state in particular, who were able to verify the quality of the plantations and the treatment of these crops and irrigation systems in Ouro Branco.

He explained that the irrigation system installed in these fields is unique in the continent, which is three kilometers long and has a sprinkling method that irrigates 300 hectares, where soybean and corn seeds are extracted, they replicate the best ones and distribute them to the rest of hectares.

In addition, the minister announced that the soybean plan is underway, whose goal for Monagas state is to plant 100,000 hectares for the next three years, another 100,000 for Anzoátegui state, and another 50,000 hectares in Guárico state for a total of 250,000 in these three entities.

The Head of State said the work on this eastern axis is part of the AgroVenezuela concept, making food production self-sustaining and sovereign, and a key point is the seeds produced in Venezuela: “For the Venezuelan seed, ecological, healthy, and this here is a demonstration to produce soy, yellow, white corn, and this sprinkler and irrigation system, which gives agriculture strength, sustainability”.

“This is the green Venezuela, the great Venezuela, the one we want and that we are sowing towards the future,” predicted Maduro.

The Dignitary reiterated that international investors are very interested in the invitation to work the Venezuelan land, he noted that only in Monagas state the goal is to grow 100,000 hectares of soybean crops, in addition to other items such as yellow and white corn, beans and rice.

He said that the entity is the epicenter of gas and oil production, now of food and combined with other productive states, do elevate Venezuela to a productive future of agriculture and agribusiness:

“This axis: Monagas, Anzoátegui, Guárico, Bolívar, there are thousands of hectares ready, with the best conditions of water, soil, climate, to produce here in this wonderful land”, he invited.

“I say to the Argentineans, Uruguayans, Iranians, Arabs, Turks, Brazilians: this is the land to produce food,” as he extended his proposal to investors.

“Venezuela will be in the world center of food production, thus I say, thus I decree it, and so it will be, Venezuela, beloved and beautiful land,” he concluded.
