The most recent study conducted by Hinterlaces, based on 1,580 direct interviews conducted in homes in the country, indicated that 58% of the people who will exercise their right to vote on May 20 prefer the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to be the one who solves the economic situation that crosses Venezuela.
The survey, conducted between April 27 and May 9, revealed that 41% of Venezuelans would be inclined towards an opposition government, represented by any leader, for the application of measures that help stabilize the national economy. a 1% did not decide on any option.
The results respond to the appreciation of 57% of the respondents who claimed to participate in the elections that will determine the President of the Republic and members of legislative councils, and who expressed disagreement with the abstentionist call of the opposition parties.
Regarding the intention to vote, the presidential candidate for the Ample Front of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, has 47% of the popular approval, followed by the champion of Avanzada Progresista (AP), Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) and Copei, Henri Falcón with 34%, and Javier Bertucci, by Esperanza por el Cambio, with 14%.
When consulted on their perception regarding the electoral results, 71% of the voters indicated that Nicolás Maduro would win, while 17% chose Henri Falcón. In the case of the presidential candidate Javier Bertucci, 8% of the respondents said that it would be victorious and 4% did not take sides for any of the candidates.
Hinternlaces pointed out that the survey has a level of reliability of 95%, with a maximum admissible error level of +/- 2.5%.
