COVID: Venezuela registers 209 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 209 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which two cases are imported, bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 528,994 cases.

The cases registered today are located in Caracas (61), Miranda (58), Zulia (21), Yaracuy (19), Bolívar (13), Trujillo (10), Sucre (9), La Guaira (4), Carabobo (3), Aragua (2), Anzoátegui (1), Lara (1), Barinas (1), Mérida (1), Guarico (1), Monagas (1) and Portuguesa (1).

This was announced this Thursday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 851 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers a deceased in the last 24 hours, to complete the figure of 5,743 as the total number of dceasess. The number of recovered patients is 520,663 and there are 2,588 current active cases.
