COVID: Venezuela registered 82 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 82 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which 7 cases arrived from countries such as Spain (3), Panama (2), the Dominican Republic (1) and Turkey (1), bringing the confirmed cumulative total number of cases to 527,074.

The community cases registered today are located in the states Miranda (38), Caracas (17), Yaracuy (8), La Guaira (2), Mérida (2), Aragua (2), Lara (1), Carabobo (1), Portuguesa (1), Apure (1), Barinas (1) and Guárico (1).

This was announced this Monday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 841 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country records the figure of 5,735 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 519,013 and there are 2,326 current active cases.
