President Maduro pays homage to the Bolivarian Navy on its Day

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, published this Friday a message on his social networks to celebrate the Day of the Bolivarian Navy, in honor of the Naval Battle of the Lake, that this Friday meets 197 years.

The Head of State stressed, “Therein is born the courage and the bravery of the men and women of the Bolivarian Navy, always on alert in the defense of our maritime sovereignty. Congratulations!»

Every July 24, is commemorated in Venezuela the Bolivarian Navy Day in honor of the Battle of Lake Maracaibo that was fought on a day like this but in 1823, being cataloged as the largest naval war of Venezuelan independence.
