President Nicolás Maduro: In March, flights of the Vuelta a la Patria Plan will be tripled

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that next March the flights of the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan will be tripled, reiterating his call to Venezuelans who are abroad to return to their country:

The doors are open to return and develop. We are going to triple the number of flights of the Vuelta a la Patria Plan, without xenophobia, without discrimination, without mistreatment. Stop suffering over there. No one knows what he has, until he travels abroad”, said Maduro while guaranteeing the commitment of the National Government to support nationals abroad.

In his message, offered during the meeting held at Miraflores Palace with representatives of the country’s private and public banks to articulate actions to promote the Banking Engine, he bluntly rejected the recent aggressions to which Venezuelan migrants were subjected in Chile:

There is a lot of discrimination, a lot of xenophobia that has been sown against Venezuela and they attack them, like the attack that took place in Chile, again in the same camp, they attack them with hatred, xenophobia and racism, and they have discovered in their pain, in their loneliness that their heart vibrates for Venezuela, they love Venezuela, more than they ever imagined when they lived here”, he said.

The president told his fellow migrants that here in Venezuela they have the doors open to return: “You can be here in peace, without discrimination, next to your families and on your land”.

He reiterated that in Venezuela there is no xenophobia, hatred, or mistreatment towards migrants from other countries, and recalled that on the contrary, our country has always welcomed them, as it has been the case of Spanish, Italian, Ecuadorian, Arab migrants, as well as the more than 6 million Colombians who live in the country.
