Venezuela presents proposals to achieve 2030 Agenda and SDG

Venezuela presented on Thursday proposals for the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations (UN).

The permanent representation of the country before the body refers, through the Twitter social network, that the proposals were formulated by the ambassador Samuel Moncada in the General Debate of the Second Committee of the UN General Assembly.

The proposals are aimed at repealing unilateral coercive measures and expanding financing to regional banking entities.

Also, the country is promoting the application of a moratorium on debt service payments for developing countries.

Moncada reaffirmed the commitment to building a human-centered multilateral system.

He added that it should seek the eradication of poverty and social exclusion, with the practice of solidarity and cooperation among nations.
