Menéndez: All State institutions must adapt to the Homeland Plan

In a meeting held on Monday, at the headquarters of the School of Planning, located in La Rinconada, Caracas, the Minister for Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, called for the adaptation of all forms of organization and institutions of the State to advance the development of the Plan De La Patria (Homeland Plan).

«You have to shake what you have to shake. We must enter with force, but our institutions have to get in tune with the seven strategic lines and the development of the Homeland Plan», agreed the official, who insisted on the need to adapt the entire system of decision-making and organization to the new territorial forms (regional, subregional and local).

He recalled that these territorial forms, conceived in the Homeland Plan, are the expression of the idiosyncrasy of the people in each territorial space, within the organic vision of a revolutionary state in Venezuela.

«Here we are looking at the conception of Hugo Chávez’s geometry of power, the use of urban sectors, the communes, as the graft of a new city system, grafting of the different engines within a new economic and productive model».

He asked to make the Homeland Plan a theme of daily life for its territorialization.
