Bolivarian Government will facilitate management of consular procedures in the USA

The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela informs Venezuelan citizens who are in the United States that from September 6 will be implemented a special attention system, through the website http://eeuu.embajada.gob.ve, where will be offered guidance for carrying out consular procedures.
Through a statement, spread by the Chancellor Jorge Arreaza in his account on the Twitter social network, it is specified that through this website will be made actions on births, marriages and death records, as well as repatriation of mortal remains, visas, among others.
Following, the communiqué:
“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is pleased to inform that as of tomorrow, September 6, 2019, it will begin to implement measures to guide and facilitate the completion of procedures for Venezuelan men and women in the United States, directly through the electronic channels of the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs.
This way, through the website http://eeuu.embajada.gob.ve, will be carried out actions in the areas of Birth Registration, Marriage Registration, Death Registration, Repatriation of mortal remains, Issuance of proof for return to Venezuela due to loss of passport, Issuance of travel permit for children and adolescents, Powers and Visas, among others.
It is necessary to remember that, after the rupture of diplomatic relations between both countries announced on January 23, the US Government has breached its obligations established in the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic and Consular Relations, refusing on one hand to accept a third State to take charge of the interests and consular affairs of Venezuela in the United States, and on the other hand, encouraging and allowing the illegal occupation and use of the diplomatic and consular offices of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in its territory.
As a consequence, in compliance with its constitutional obligations to ensure the interests of citizens, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will put into operation this special system for the care of all Venezuelans in the United States, through which will be provided the aforementioned services and solutions of a practical nature to the requesting persons, always within the framework of what is allowed by international law”.
