COVID: Venezuela registered 1,702 new cases in the last 24 hours

1,702 new infections were detected in the country, 1,681 cases of community transmission and 21 international ones in the last 24 hours. This was announced by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, on her account on Twitter.

Caracas is the entity where the largest number of new community cases was registered this Sunday, 444 cases with active infections in its 22 parishes; followed by states Miranda (426 cases), Yaracuy (340) and Bolívar state (52 cases):

Today President Nicolas Maduro warned about the accelerated increase in infections in our country, going from 5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants to 42. This is not the time to trust or relax biosecurity measures. We must comply with special care”, stressed Rodríguez.
