COVID: Venezuela registers 407 new community cases and 55 imported cases

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Monday that in Venezuela were confirmed 462 new infections during the last 24 hours (407 community and 55 imported cases).

This was announced today through her account on the Twitter social network, informing that Guárico state is the entity that registered the highest number of new community cases (81), with active infections in 11 municipalities; followed by the entities: Mérida (64), Miranda (58) and the Capital District (58).

Likewise, shereported that unfortunately today 5 Venezuelans died from Covid-19: An 48-year-old man and a 85-year-old woman – from Yaracuy state, an 80-year-old man – from the Capital District, a 74 years old man from Táchira state, a 60 years old manfrom Zulia state.

“As of today, these are the general statistics of the virus in Venezuela: – Total infections: 104,904 – Recovered patients: 99,982 (95%) – Current active cases: 3,998 – Total deaths: 924”, tweeted the High Venezuelan official .
