77 percent of the National Budget for 2022 will be allocated to social investment to protect the Venezuelan people, the information was released by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.
During her speech before the National Assembly, the senior official explained that with the National Budget will be strengthened care in health matters, education, housing construction through the Great Mission Housing Venezuela, the Patria System, will be guaranteed the payment to the public sector and other commitments related to goods and services will be honored.
The National Budget reaches 62,379,425,806 bolivars, of which 7,777 million will be allocated for payment to the public sector, 5,450 million bolivars for the Patria Platform, 4,410 million will be allocated for goods and services and 1,622 million to honor the country’s commitments, as explained Vice President Rodríguez.
Despite the intensification of the blockade and the Covid-19 pandemic, in Venezuela the productive economy has increased, the protection system was strengthened through the Carnet De La Patria (Homeland Card), more than 130 million CLAP (Local Alimentation and Production Committees) combos were distributed, and was vaccinated an 80 percent of the population, which indicates that 2022 is shaping up to be a year of economic growth and the loan portfolio will be expanded to boost national production.
The National Budget was approved unanimously in the first discussion; Vice President Delcy Rodríguez presented before the National Assembly, a Reform Project to the Tax Law on large financial transactions and proposed as a strategic goal, the strengthening of PDVSA, the promotion of the Mining Motor and the Importing Motor.
