Venezuela began vaccination of people over 12 years old

This Monday, October 25, 2021, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela began the vaccination of people over 12 years of age.

The Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñañez, stressed that it represents an advance that will allow to achieve the goal of 70 percent of the people immunized.

589 days after the start of the pandemic in the country, 748 new infections were registered, all community transmission cases. Miranda state, La Guaira and Caracas continue leading the number of Covid-19 cases.

Venezuela maintains the number of people recovered at 95 percent, and most cases are treated in the public health system.
