The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, appointed Dheliz Álvarez, as Minister of People’s Power for National Commerce:
“(A) Vital space for the development of the real economy that generates wealth that meets the needs of the people,” wrote the Head of State on his Twitter account @NicolasMaduro.
President Maduro also appointed Tibisay Lucena as Minister of People’s Power for University Education, due to her extensive experience and pedagogical vocation “that will contribute to raising the quality of education for national development”.
He expressed his gratitude to the outgoing ministers, Eneida Laya and César Trompiz, for their work and dedication:
“Our country acknowledges your loyalty, vocation and work. Soon new responsibilities will arrive so that you can continue contributing to the happiness of our people, “concluded President Maduro.
