COVID: Venezuela registered 12 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 12 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 7 are community cases and 5 cases imported from the Dominican Republic (1), Spain (2), Panama (1) and Türkiye (1), to sum 546,122 as the confirmed cumulative total of cases.

This was announced this Monday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located in the states: Yaracuy (3), Miranda (2) and Lara (2).

On day 967 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,823 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 539,727 and there are 572 current active cases.
