The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting this Monday with the 5 Generations of the Bolivarian Revolution, where he highlighted the potential of the Chavista thought to benefit social unity, both within the revolutionary process and in the Venezuelan nation. The meeting was held at the presidential headquarters of Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
First, he honored a group of members of the precursor generation of the Bolivarian Revolution, including María León, Noelí Pocaterra, Pérez Marcano, Fernando Soto, Jesús Martínez and Luis Reyes. Later, he indicated: “Chávez vaccinated us with the best vaccine against betrayal: 21st century Bolivarianism.” He also indicated that Chavismo represents “the greatest love a people can feel, for its history and for its right to the future.”
“And we are vaccinated with pure Bolivarianism,” which, according to the head of state, allows Venezuelans to be “immunized against the dissolving, divisive viruses.” Similarly, he emphasized that the Bolivarian Revolution is fully reinforced “against betrayal, against divisionism, and is an impregnable and indestructible force.”
On the other hand, he proudly declared that he is the “first Chavista president.” “And when I hand over power, I will hand it over to a Chavista and Bolivarian president, whenever the time comes,” he declared.
