The National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela approved the Law for the Promotion and Use of Language with a Gender Approach.
In the ordinary session of this Thursday, September 30, 2021, the deputies unanimously approved the legal instrument that refers to the use of non-sexist language and the visibility of women, as a subject of law in accordance with the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The President of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, declared this bill sanctioned and ordered its submission to the National Executive for enactment.
The National Assembly also approved an Agreement to celebrate the International Day of the Elderly on October 1 and the Law Approving the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.
