Venezuela discusses cooperation projects with new Indian Ambassador Abhishek Singh

This Thursday the Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, discussed cooperation projects in energy, trade, pharmaceuticals, education, culture, yoga and alternative medicine matters with the new ambassador of the Republic of India, Abhishek Singh, as announced through his Twitter account, @CancilleriaVE.

Likewise, Arreaza highlighted on his twitter network the “fraternal welcome to our country to the new Ambassador of the Republic of India, Abhishek Singh, through a fruitful meeting via telematic means”, as published on August 6 the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza.

The meeting was held via videoconference, with the objective of welcoming the new representative of India in Venezuela. In this regard, issues of interest for the welfare of both countries were discussed.

The close ties of friendship and strategic commercial cooperation between Venezuela and India date back to 1959. Both nations have had bilateral diplomatic relations that have been characterized by cordiality, complementarity and respect for the self-determination of peoples.
