The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, from the headquarters of the United Nations (UN) in New York, stressed that Venezuela is always news for its elections, for 19 years, as well as explained the multiple audits that they carry out before, during and after the elections to the Venezuelan electoral system.
“Venezuela is always news for its elections, there have been 24 elections over 19 years; Venezuela is always news because of its constant calls to the people to decide freely (…) The Venezuelan people are going to another election with all the guarantees that our electoral system has always given”, he said.
Arreaza invited the international media to verify the Venezuelan reality in an objective and transparent manner.
“We want that, over all media, have an objective approach” of the Venezuelan reality, at the same time that he exhorted them to demarcate themselves from the imposed editorial lines, he said.
