COVID: Venezuela registers 1,296 new cases in the last 24 hours

1,296 new infections by Covid-19, all community transmission cases, were registered in Venezuela in the last 24 hours. Miranda is the entity with the highest number of cases, with 347 active in 17 of its 21 municipalities, followed by Caracas with 238, La Guaira with 182, Bolívar with 116 and Lara state with 101 cases.

15 Venezuelans died from Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 4,469 deceases to date.

564 days after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in Venezuela, 368,968 is the total number of infections, with 351,141 recovered patients and 13,358 current active cases.

Vaccination has been accelerated in the country under instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, which is why a call is made to those over 60 years of age and to those people who received the first dose before June 30 to go to the vaccination centers without needing a prior appointment, just with their vaccination card and thus complete the immunization process.
