Bolivarian Government will increase number of vaccinated people per day

The Bolivarian Government estimates for the month of October to have 70 percent of the population vaccinated. This was expressed by Carlos Alvarado, Minister of People’s Power for Health, who indicated that the goal must be met to start the face-to-face classes.

This Monday, August 30, workers in basic, secondary and university education joined the massive vaccination plan to achieve immunization.

Soon will begin in Venezuela a journey of active house-by-house search for adults and elder adults: “President Maduro has instructed us to go looking for the grandmothers and grandfathers, to the pregnant women and persons with disabilities who have not been able to go out to get vaccinated”, manifested the minister.

452 vaccination centers are active, serving around 100,000 people a day, and from now on the figure will be increased to 300,000 people a day who will be summoned through the Patria System.

It is important to note that those over 60 years old do not require an appointment. The minister urged to continue using the masks, social distancing, permanent hand washing, among other measures to avoid contagion by Covid-19.
