President Maduro celebrates signing of agreement with opposition that consolidates peace of Venezuela


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated on Monday the signing of an agreement between the National Government and the Venezuelan opposition, in order to advance towards coexistence and peace in the country:
“This persevering effort has produced a happy result and I want to celebrate the signing of this coexistence agreement. It is a successful, necessary step that opens all doors to the dialogue for peace”, said the National President during a meeting with the Ministerial Cabinet.
In this regard, he said that this agreement was executed after two months of talks between all sectors of the Venezuelan opposition, as well as he thanked the Norwegian government for being a mediator in the talks between both sectors:
“I sent to tell them that I appreciate their patience, their devotion and their commitment to dialogue and that for our part, in the Bolivarian forces and the Government all doors are open”, he emphasized, while indicating that representatives of the European government were in the country this weekend, to refine details for the consolidation of an agreement between the opposition and the National Government.
