A total of 1,215 new community infections and 3 imported Covid-19 cases were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities, with 334,343 accumulated cases to date and 319,010 patients healed.
The entity with the highest number of infections on the day is Caracas, with 276 active infections in 21 of its 22 parishes. The states that follow are Miranda with 272, Nueva Esparta with 224, Yaracuy with 106 and Barinas with 103 cases.
The imported cases come from Panama and entered through La Guaira state. The unfortunate death of 12 new victims was also reported to add 4,010 deaths to date.
