COVID: Venezuela registered 131 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 131 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 45 are community transmissions and 86 cases are imported from Panama (34), the Dominican Republic (30), Mexico (17) and Türkiye (5) to sum a total of 549,679 confirmed cumulative cases to date.

This was announced this Thursday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv

The community cases are located mostly in Caracas (17), Miranda (10), Zulia (7) and La Guaira (3), among others.

On day 1,012 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,830 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 542,290 and there are 1,559 current active cases.
