Venezuela will massify ozone therapy in all CDI from the first semester of 2021

From the first semester of 2021, the National Executive, through the Ministry of People’s Power for Health, will establish the therapeutic method based on ozone in all the Centers of Integral Diagnosis (CDI) of the country, to help the patients who present problems and traumatological conditions.

“We are going to take the ozone therapy to all the CDI in Venezuela. It is the first solid step of the massification of this therapeutic treatment that we must carry out,” announced this Sunday the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro Moros, after inaugurating the National Scientific Center of Ozone, located in Caracas.

In this sense, the Head of State said that the whole process of ozone therapy, the construction of the machines to offer the treatment, and the administrative and logistic aspects have already been discussed with the health and medical authorities.

Likewise, he instructed that for this treatment to be offered in the Integral Rehabilitation Rooms (SRI), perfect places where thousands of patients suffering from bone problems are being helped: “In this first semester we advance in the massification of this treatment, they are benefits for the integral health, for the treatment of traumatological affections, affections of the spine”.

“Ozone therapy has many uses,” he explained, recalling that the first was to combat the coronavirus in the current global pandemic of COVID-19. Now, with the inauguration of the National Ozone Center headquarters, he reiterated that must start the stage of the massification of knowledge and its application with ozone-based therapy.

“We have given firm steps to go building the entire public health system, incorporating to it all the scientific novelties”, he ratified.

Likewise, he thanked the professionals who have participated in the development of this therapy, and confirmed that Venezuela will continue supporting the Venezuelan people, offering quality health and free care, and supporting the development of health sciences at the service of the Venezuelan family, of the human being as the center of government management.
