The president of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, called for extraordinary sessions in August 2021.
The purpose is to reinforce the legislative work, meet the goal of approving the 34 laws that are on agenda, and make visible the work carried out by the different committees of the National Parliament.
Jorge Rodríguez acknowledged and thanked all the deputies for their work in favor of the Homeland, carried out during the first period of sessions of the National Assembly.
“We have managed to pass 29 laws, that is, 90 percent of the Annual Legislative Plan of the National Assembly”, reported Jorge Rodríguez.
He asked his fellow parliamentarians to make the work visible through the new communication channels. The special sessions of August will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
