The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed this Friday through his Twitter account @NicolásMaduro that the enemies of the Homeland intend to sow anxiety through the financing of criminal gangs, “we will not stand idly by”.

The Head of State also indicated that the National Government is acting in a forceful manner, adhering to the laws and the Constitution to guarantee security. “May Peace Win!”.
Active deployment:
It is worth remembering that this Friday the Minister for the Interior, Justice and Peace, Carmen Meléndez, informed through her social networks that the security forces will maintain an active deployment with the objective of dismantling the criminal gangs that have tried to destabilize and attempt against the peace and security of the citizens of Caracas.
This deployment, which began last Thursday, July 8, has allowed the retaking of strategic points of the Cota 905 to restore peace and tranquility to the communities of the South and West of the city of Caracas. In these procedures, weapons have been seized, some of high caliber, ammunition and illicit substances that were in the possession of the members of these terrorist gangs.
In this security and protection deployment, a mixed component integrated by agents of the Cicpc and the Special Action Forces (Faes), among other police forces, is participating.
A press conference is expected to be held today at noon by Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez and Minister Carmen Meléndez, to provide details to the Venezuelan people on the operation “Gran Cacique Indio Guaicaipuro”, a security and protection deployment activated to impose peace and tranquility in sectors of the south and west of the country’s capital.
