9,458 nationals returned to the country thanks to the Vuelta a la Patria Plan

Thanks to the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan, have returned 9,458 nationals from Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Chile and Panama.

This Tuesday 98 Venezuelans returned from Peru after being victims of multiple abuses, as informed the Venezuelan Chancellor, Jorge Arreaza:

“It’s a new beginning, an opportunity to fight hard for our country. Let’s fight for Venezuela!” He said through his account on Twitter.

The airlift instructed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, within the framework of the Vuelta a la Patria Plan has carried out 26 flights, equivalent to 27% of the logistics deployment, while a 73% of the movements have been carried out by land.

Of the total number of repatriations carried out, 55% are women, 45% men, of whom 66% are adults, 11% are elderly, 14% are adolescents and 9% are boys and girls.

A 60% of Venezuelans who have returned express having decided to return due to economic problems, a 48% for xenophobia and exploitation, and a 17% for health problems.

To date, 9,568 applications have been received from embassies and consulates, from compatriots who wish to return to the country to continue fighting.
