A total of 1,298 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities, of which 1,297 are of community transmission and 1 imported case, raising the accumulated total of infections to 262,038, while the recovered patients rate remains at 92 percent, totaling 242,357 recovered patients.
The highest number of community cases of the day were detected in Yaracuy state, being the entity that registered the highest number of patients with 197 people distributed in 11 of its 14 municipalities, while the only imported case of the day is one (1) woman, coming from Spain, who entered through the Maiquetía International Airport, in La Guaira state.
Was also reported the death of 15 people due to COVID-19, aged between 41 and 81 years, to add a total of 2,973 deaths to date
