General in Chief Vladimir Padrino López, also Sectoral Vice President for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace and Minister of People’s Power for Defense, in the company of GD Ángel Moronta, Commander of ZODI-TÁCHIRA and other pertinent authorities of the entity, carried out this Wednesday December 29 a tour of the military units stationed in the border area of La Fría, in Táchira state.
The minister for Defense confirmed the high level of Operational Readiness and sent a warm end-of-year greeting to the Venezuelan troops.
Padrino stressed the FANB soldiers “stand -watchful- with their firm arms looking to the horizon, taking care of the Homeland, our sovereignty, taking care of what belongs to all Venezuelans and I can say -with pride-: You are the heroes and heroines of these times“
