Public Ministry submitted to the ICC Prosecutor’s Office a report on the use of social networks in the Venezuelan case

The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, informed this Thursday that he submitted to the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) an additional report to the one submitted last May 6, 2021, on the incidence and use of social networks in the Venezuela case, which highlights the media manipulation that has characterized the preliminary examination.

Through the Twitter social network @TarekWiliamSaab, the Attorney General said that this new report concludes that social networks and media are an active part in the distortion of information regarding Venezuela and demonstrates with examples how they are used to influence the evaluation made by the ICC.
