COVID: Venezuela registered 371 community transmission and 21 imported cases

This Wednesday, when the 339 days of the pandemic in Venezuela were met, the country registered 392 new infections by Covid-19, 371 of community transmission and 21 imported during the last 24 hours.

This was announced by the current Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, through his account on the Twitter social network.

In this regard, Ñáñez indicated that a total of 3,330 patients are asymptomatic, “2,893 with Mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 344 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 113 in the Intensive Care Unit”, tweeted the head of the Communications portfolio pf the Bolivarian Government.

He also highlighted: “Unfortunately, we reported 5 deaths from this virus: 2 men aged 41 and 44 from Miranda state, 1 man aged 70 from Nueva Esparta state, 2 women aged 69 and 74 from Aragua state. Condolences to their families and loved ones”.

Finally, Freddy Ñáñez underlined: «To date 2,813,830 tests have been carried out. Which represents 93,794 tests per million inhabitants ».
