COVID: Venezuela registers 1,215 new cases of community transmission, 8 imported and maintains a 91% recovery rate

A total of 1,223 new cases of COVID-19, of which 1,215 are community transmissions and cases are 8 imported, were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities, raising the accumulated total of infections to 193,721, while the rate of recovered patients remains at 91 percent, adding 176,058 healed patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced on Tuesday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance of the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19.

It was reported that the community cases of the day were detected in 20 entities: Carabobo 257, La Guaira 162, Sucre 142, Yaracuy 138, Caracas 103, Anzoátegui 86, Miranda 74, Aragua 58, Bolívar 45, Mérida 33, Barinas 26, Falcón 23 , Apure 19, Nueva Esparta 18, Guárico 12, Zulia 11, Táchira 3, Lara 2, Trujillo 2, Cojedes 1.

He reported the unfortunate death of 17 new victims of COVID-19, to add 2,082 deaths to date:

3 in Aragua: 2 men, aged 72 and 80, and a woman, 90 years old

3 in Nueva Esparta: 2 men of 77, 61 years and a woman of 51 years

3 in Sucre: A woman of 68 years and 2 men of 55 and 70 years

2 in Caracas: A 55-year-old man and a 84-year-old woman

1 in Miranda: A 65-year-old woman

1 in Barinas: A 58-year-old woman

1 in Falcón: A 59-year-old man

1 in Yaracuy: A 69-year-old woman
