COVID: Venezuela registers 350 new cases and a 94% recovery rate

Venezuela registered 350 new infections of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, 341 community cases and 9 imported, 4 from Panama, 2 from the Dominican Republic, 2 from Chile and 1 from Mexico, as reported by the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez.

Through her Twitter account @Drodriven2, she highlighted that “the state with the most new community cases is the Capital District (92), with active infections in its 21 of its 22 parishes; followed by the states Miranda (80) and Carabobo”.

The head of the Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19, pointed out that 133,927 cases have been registered since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 125,924 patients have recovered satisfactorily, which represents a recovery rate of 94% of the cases; in addition to a total of 1,292 deceased.

Likewise, she indicated that of the 6,711 active cases, 4,344 are being treated in hospitals, 2,181 in Integral Diagnostic Centers, and 186 in private clinics.

In turn, Rodriguez regretted the death of 7 Venezuelans due to Covid-19: “2 men 49 and 50 years old in Caracas, 2 men 42 and 75 years old in Trujillo, 2 men 75 and 68 years old – in Zulia , and a 72 years old man – in Bolívar state”.
