COVID: Venezuela registers 433 new infections: 426 community cases and 7 imported cases

This Wednesday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez announced that the country has registered 433 new infections in the last 24 hours: 426 community cases and 7 imported cases.

This was announced through her official account in the Twitter social network, where she detailed that the state with the highest number of community cases registered in the last hours is Carabobo (114); followed by Lara state (69) and the Capital District (62).

She also added that unfortunately, today 6 Venezuelans lost their lives due to Covid-19, among them, 2 women, 73 and 68 years old from Lara state, 2 men, 76 and 57 years old from Yaracuy. A 65 years old man from Táchira, and a65 years old woman from Zulia.

She also informed that after 318 days of fighting Coronavirus, these are the general statistics in Venezuela: – Total number of infections: 124,958 – Patients recovered: 117,115 (94%) – Current active cases: 6,678 – Total number of deaths: 1,165.

Finally, Dr. Delcy Rodríguez, announced on Twitter that “the Bolivarian Government is working hard to guarantee the health of the Venezuelan people through @MVzlaBella, which to date has carried out more than 5 million 300 thousand disinfections throughout the country”, as part of the protection measures against Covid-19.
