Approved relaunching of the Venezuelan Council for Quality

During the Productive Wednesday and the launch of the 2024 Christmas Fairs, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, approved the relaunching of the Venezuelan Council for Quality, and asked for the various public and private organizations to be incorporated to promote the “Made in Venezuela” slogan with a greater force.

The head of state assured that this proposal arose from the dialogue that is generated in the National Council of Productive Economy, and stressed that the objective is to make a detailed map of the economic engines, in order to guarantee products of excellent quality: “We are going for something that can make Venezuela a powerful country.”

It is worth noting that the Venezuelan Council for Quality has the responsibility of advising the Ministry of People’s Power for National Commerce in the development of policies and guidelines on quality, as a constitutional right of the Venezuelan people.

In this regard, the president of Conindustria (Industrials Guild), Luigi Pisella, said that it is a good initiative because it will not only allow progress in public policies to improve technological processes, but will also strengthen the entire national industry.

Likewise, he said that the reactivation of the Venezuelan Council for Quality will also allow that «the products that arrive in the country have the same quality as the products consumed by the Venezuelan people and that are produced by the national workforce, by our producers.» Pisella said that there are other proposals but that they will gradually be activated through the National Council of Economy.

Promotion of national dialogue:

In this regard, President Nicolás Maduro assured that these great advances in economic matters are the result of the national dialogue that is carried out with all sectors, it is a permanent, inclusive and convening process of dialogue, which bears fruit for the country.

The Head of State urged the country’s economic sectors to deepen the dialogue and for it to be very constructive, and announced that the relaunching of the Venezuelan Council for Quality will take place in the coming weeks.
