National Executive approves introduction of draft Law on Welfare and Social Security of the Police before the new AN

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, authorized the introduction of the draft Law on Welfare and Social Security of the Venezuelan Police for the new National Assembly to assume it and discuss its approval in full for the benefit of the protection of the police family from the country.

To do this, he asked this debate to be held as soon as the new Parliament is installed on January 5, and authorized the Minister of People’s Power for the Interior, Justice and Peace, Carmen Meléndez, to come and deliver said document.

During the act of promotion, decoration, graduation and celebration of the 11th anniversary of the Bolivarian National Police, the Head of State stated that, from now on, the new legitimate and constitutional National Assembly opens the doors of the Federal Legislative Palace to the people and New laws.

The National Assembly that destroyed the country, which failed, is leaving the extremist pro-Yankee opposition. Their 5 years have already passed, let’s never forget the damage they have done to the country by asking for sanctions, endorsing assassination attempts. They leave in peace thanks to the votes of the people. They leave with more sorrow than glory,” said President Maduro.

He also highlighted that the National Government is studying recovering the well-being and overcoming the state of vulnerability to which Venezuela has been subjected for the last 4 years.

“You dear policemen are vulnerated, we do our best to support you with the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card), with special bonuses, the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP) and now we go with the law,” he said.
