The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, said this Thursday that the more than 37,000 proposals that have been registered on the venvamosjuntos.org.ve web platform to build a new National Assembly (AN) will be converted in laws:
“We have made a consultation that has been going on for two weeks, this is a real consultation, it is serious and everything that is consulted will be done, we will turn it into laws and decisions; we are not wasting time. All the proposals have been taken into account”, he said during a meeting with the AN candidates at the Los Caobos Park, in Caracas.
Maduro asked for maximum union to receive the proposals and spread the message of the people on social networks, to be more effective politically.
For her part, the candidate for the national list, Cilia Flores, stressed that consulting the people has always been a premise of the Bolivarian revolution, which, hand in hand with its candidates for deputies, has the task of building the new legislative power.
She added that during the activities and meetings with the people, the joy and motivation of Venezuelans to participate in the 6D elections has been confirmed:
“We have a golden opportunity to rebuild the National Assembly with laws that favor all sectors, and not only the laws, but we are going to retake, build and expand powers together with the people, always with the public powers in collaboration we are going to defend Parliament and guarantee peace, stability and a prosperous future for all”, she said.
