Jorge Arreaza, Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, described as a great success the visit made this week to the People’s Republic of China, as he said in a contact with the National Public Media System, via Skype after his meeting with his (chinese) counterpart Wang Yi
He also stressed that both nations have major infrastructure projects, development of social policies, investments in the oil sector, among others, which will continue to be developed during 2018.
He recalled that he met with Chancellor Wang Yi, to whom he manifested that: “Our Revolution is only 19 years old. Commander Hugo Chávez always saw in China a guide for the construction of the Revolution, for that reason President Nicolás Maduro sees China as a brotherly country”. He also announced that: “Next year will be made the 16th China-Venezuela Mixed Commission for the development of our peoples.”
“We have always considered the relationship with China as valuable. Since it is not of imposition, but of mutual complementarity and advice. China has been inserted in our development process”, he said.
“We in this visit have reviewed the bilateral relations and the cooperation agreements we have with the brotherly China. We are coordinating the great powers with work plans. Thankfully Venezuela and the whole world counts with the Socialist China”, he said.
He also stressed that: “We are looking at the projected relationships towards the future. We have reviewed the scope of the 15 mixed commissions and organized the 16 for the next year, which will be attended by President Nicolás Maduro.
Finally, he highlighted: “The Venezuelan people is well aware of the scope of China-Venezuela cooperation. In telecommunications, technology and investment in our oil industry, this alliance is present for the development of our peoples. ”
