This Monday, the Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, announced through his social networks that 274 days after the pandemic in Venezuela, the country registered 339 new infections by Covid-19, 311 from community transmission and 28 imported cases.

He also highlighted that 1,948 of the patients are asymptomatic, 1,909 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 220 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 51 in the Intensive Care Units.

Likewise, he assured that unfortunately 6 new deaths are reported: A 41-year-old man from Trujillo state, a 51-year-old man from Táchira, a 84-year-old man from Yaracuy, a 66-year-old man from Mérida, a 50-year-old man from Zulia and a 74-year-old man from Lara state. “Condolences to their relatives,” stated Minister Ñáñez on Twitter.

Finally, he reported that 2,216,698 tests have been carried out to date. This represents 78,890 tests per million inhabitants.
