The National Constituent Assembly (ANC) guarantees every day the peace, sovereignty and tranquility of the country, as highlighted on Wednesday its Chairwoman, Delcy Rodríguez, who during today’s session highlighted the management that the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, has had since taking office, last August, to attack corruption.
“I always remind you that every day this Constituent, thanks to the call made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, guarantees the peace, sovereignty and tranquility of Venezuela”, she said.
During her speech, she stressed that the restructuring of the Public Ministry has allowed to attack crimes such as the fraudulent use, through corruption and extortion, of the nation’s heritage.
“In seven months has been achieved an extraordinary management that broke the model of treason, which broke the scheme of extortion and the criminalization of poverty”, she said.
She also stressed that the ANC came to preserve the values and objectives of justice, as fundamental pillars to maintain the Republic.
In the presentation of the balance of the management that began in August 2017, after the dismissal of Luisa Ortega Díaz, who is today a fugitive from Venezuelan justice, Saab referred to large cases of corruption and human rights violations that had no procedural momentum.
