COVID: Venezuela registers 315 community cases, 11 imported and a 95% recovery rate

This Thursday, a total of 315 cases of community transmission by Covid-19 and 11 imported were detected by the Venezuelan health authorities, raising the total number of infections to 98,665, while the rate of recovery remains at 95% of the total cases, by registering 93,691 recovered patients.

This was announced today by the Sectoral Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, by publishing his official account on Instagram, detailing that so far Venezuela has 4,111 active cases, while 4,094 are being attended to in the System National Public Health and 17 in private clinics.

He stressed in this regard that the Capital District is again the entity with the highest number of cases, which are located in the parishes El Valle (20), San Pedro (9), Sucre (6), Caricuao (5), Altagracia (4), San Juan (3), El Paraíso (3), Coche (3), San Agustín (1), El Junquito (1), Santa Rosalía (1), 23 de Enero (1), La Candelaria (1), La Vega (1).

Regarding the imported cases, he reported that all 11 cases come from Colombia, all with entry through Táchira state.

Regarding the deceased, he specified that there were three regrettable losses: 2 men aged 67 and 71 years from Táchira state, and 1 woman aged 79 years from the Capital District.

Finally, he reported that 2,267,375 tests have been carried out to date, which represents 75,579 tests per million inhabitants.
