President said that Venezuela demands dialogue because it wants peace

The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, reiterated on Tuesday his willingness to engage in a dialogue with the Venezuelan opposition as a way to preserve peace, sovereignty and to move towards the economic recovery.
From the National Theater in Caracas, he regretted that the initiatives by the executive power on convening a dialogue are rejected by opposition leaders, especially by the Chairman of the National Assembly (AN), Henry Ramos Allup.
“It is outrageous that dialogue is rejected. Venezuela is demanding a dialogue; I want a dialogue, because I want peace, I want to overcome the problems, to recover the economy, because I want the cooperation and unity of the entire country to achieve the objectives of economic prosperity, of social prosperity; I want a dialogue for the union to work, in the midst of diversity. “
