This Thursday, the Bolivarian Government began the Happy Safe Carnivals 2024 device, to guarantee the protection of the people who mobilize in these festivities, as reported by the sectoral vice president for Citizen Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, together with the Minister of People’s Power for Tourism, Ali Padrón and the governor, Alejandro Terán, from the Paseo La Marina, in La Guaira state.
The Admiral in Chief reported that 164,000 officials are deployed in the 3,000 active Peace Quadrants to guarantee the enjoyment of the right to recreation and free enjoyment: “This deployment has an operational capacity of 3,480 vehicles, 7,335 motorcycles, 9 aircraft and 178 boats for the protection of the people,” he said.
The also Minister of People’s Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, stated that «citizen security bodies are deployed as a guarantee of peace, tranquility, peaceful and supportive coexistence, as well as respect for authority.»
Likewise, he pointed out that throughout the national territory, the Venezuelan people has 3,527 comprehensive, tourist and itinerant road control points installed.
For its part, the National Risk Management System maintains 475 ambulances activated and 1,539 advanced emergency medical posts; while, in terms of road safety, 44 scales, 19 opacimeters and 10,000 toxicological tests are available to guarantee compliance with the resolutions to regulate the speed of cargo transportation, public transportation and the authorization of units outside their assigned route.
Likewise, the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) has deployed 2,500 officials to guarantee, together with security agencies, compliance with these standards established for the protection of life.
The Happy Safe Carnivals 2024 device has 95 tow trucks throughout the national territory to provide the corresponding attention to any situation that arises during this holiday.
Finally, the Admiral in Chief called for “respect for the laws, tranquility for the full enjoyment of their rights.”
