The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, insisted on the need to promote the generation of wealth in the country that allows the consolidation of the economy in favor of Venezuelans:
“We must put the focus on the production of wealth to support the improvement of the economy, the real and sustained recovery of workers’ income, to continue investing”, said the President at the ceremony of receipt of the Constitutional Anti-Blockade Law held the afternoon this Friday at Miraflores Palace.
He stressed that the Anti-Blockade Law was created for that purpose, which will provide the State with tools to enhance the country’s productive forces:
“This Law is going to become, with the passing of months and years, the great instrument to protect the entire productive system of the country. It is the great Law to protect our Homeland!”
The national president recalled that, as a result of the unilateral coercive measures that are being applied to Venezuela by the North American government, the income from exports reached 400 million dollars, while emphasizing that this has not prevented the guarantee of social protection to the Venezuelan people:
“With 400 million dollars we guarantee food for 7 million families, we guarantee all medicines to all those who are sick with Coronavirus and we save lives, we guarantee the educational system to all children and young people in the country, we guarantee to build 400,000 homes a year”, he detailed.
In this context, the President reported that within the framework of the approval of the new legislation, initiatives have arisen in areas such as oil, mining, petrochemicals, tourism, agri-food, banking, finance and crypto assets:
“Now it’s about raising production, generating wealth with the Anti-Blockade Law and continuing to denounce these criminal attacks”, he said.
