More than 6 million Venezuelans have answered new health survey on the Patria platform

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported on Wednesday that the new health survey displayed on the Patria platform has been answered so far by 6,011,226 Venezuelans.

He indicated that through this mechanism, the National Executive defines effective strategies for the prevention, care and control of COVID-19 in the country.

On the other hand, he delivered the ambulatory surgery unit of the “Antonio María Pineda” University Central Hospital in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara state, after carrying out rehabilitation works in all its areas.

The governor of that state, Carmen Meléndez, explained on a television contact with the President, that all operating rooms have been recovered and equipped, with high-tech modules, to attend an average of one thousand patients per month, free of charge.

With the recovery of this ambulatory surgery unit, surgical care will be provided to patients with cardiological and ophthalmological conditions, among other specialties.

President Maduro detailed that the works were carried out with financing granted in the Venezuelan cryptocurrency, the Petro.
