1,083 cadets graduated from the Bolivarian Military University

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and commander-in-chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro, graduated 1,083 cadets from the Bolivarian Military University on Tuesday.

“Now a journey begins for each one of you, who have been forging these years in discipline in the new Bolivarian spirituality, in the doctrine at the time. This military university, founded by Commander Hugo Chávez, taken by the original spirit of the Liberators, has allowed forging these 1,083 lieutenants who are graduating today”, said the head of state in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.

From the Court of Honor of the Academies in Fort Tiuna, in Caracas; The National President congratulated the graduates and stressed the FANB has a heroic youth that makes this revolution unstoppable.

“Dream big because you will be the generals and admirals of the future”, stressed the Venezuelan president.

During the activity, a minute of silence was observed, for those who died in recent years.

“When the 300th anniversary of the birth here in Caracas of Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda is met, you will be the generals and admirals of a free and consolidated Homeland, as Venezuela will be from now on”, he emphasized.

On the spot, the FANB commander-in-chief handed sabers to the 10 first lieutenants (ensign) who ranked first in the academic performance index, of whom four are women.

“We have had to take special measures for everyone. As a result of the pandemic we are doing this act with a special security protocol. I am going to deliver the victorious saber of our homeland, in the hand of 10 ensign lieutenants. I am very happy, that of the 10 officers, and I give in your hands, as president, four are women”, stressed the Venezuelan president.
