State of alarm is extended for 30 days due to coronavirus in the country

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, signed this Tuesday the extension of the state of alarm for 30 more days, due to the new coronavirus.

“I am going to renew the decree for 30 more days to continue protecting our people, until beyond June”, said the head of state in a productive meeting from Miraflores, where he also offered the balance of the situation of the new coronavirus in the country.

Maduro oriented the evaluation by the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) for its entry into force.
