«I am very excited, very happy and I tell you, Caracas, we did it again!, again on the streets from end to end, all the avenues and highways of the capital of the Republic,» with this expression the presidential candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) Nicolás Maduro, closed the electoral campaign “Venezuela Nuestra del siglo XXI” (Venezuela of Ours of the 21st Century), on the monumental Bolívar Avenue in Caracas, which concentrated an avalanche of people that extended to the surrounding avenues to reaffirm the commitment to victory on July 28.
The gift of the electoral victory of the Bolivarian Revolution to the Eternal Commander Hugo Chavez, on his 70th birthday, which will be celebrated this Sunday, July 28, had its first expression with the fullness from end to end of the Bolivar, Lecuna, Fuerzas Armadas, Universidad, and Mexico avenues, and beyond Plaza Venezuela, Solano Avenue, Francisco de Miranda Avenue and the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro highway with the presence of more than 60,000 motorcyclists:
“The people in the streets saying victory, victory, popular victory! The people are in the streets and no one can stop them! Because hope is in the streets,” said the revolutionary leader in the middle of a crowd of men and women who with banners, flags, music, poetry and color crowded from early in the morning in the streets of Caracas.
He reiterated that the campaign has been admirable, heroic and joyful and that it has consolidated the monolithic unity of the majorities with the revolutionary forces, which will be expressed in the victory of the popular vote on July 28.
During the day that began at dusk on July 25, tribute was paid to the Eternal Commander Hugo Chavez, the candidate maintained that the patriotic example of his legacy is his inspiration to continue building the destinies of prosperity and social well-being of the people:
“Everything that I am, everything that I will be, everything that we have done, we have done it for his example, for his legacy, for his presence, everything has been for you, Infinite Commander Hugo Chavez, here is your people who have never failed you, who will never fail you,” said Maduro accompanying his speech with Chavez’s singing the (National Anthem) Gloria al Bravo Pueblo.
The deep Venezuela is reborn:
By making a chronology of the tours made through 300 towns and cities since the start of the campaign, Maduro, explained that his sharing with “the deep Venezuela in the search for the truth of a people”, has allowed him to know more closely the popular strategy to defeat the illegal blockade of the global West.
“To know more about how this people has done to defeat the most criminal aggression in history that was done to us in the years that have passed. To discover in the teacher, in the nurse, in the doctor, in the worker, in the entrepreneur, in the young student what they have in their hearts, why they have fought and have stayed in Venezuela, why so much resistance and I found only one answer, one answer, one voice: we are here, we have resisted, because we love our Homeland, because we have faith in what is ours,” said the GPP candidate.
He recalled that the imperialist aggressions aimed to surrender the people and “this people shouted to them from its centennial soul: here no one surrenders. You are my example and you have been my inspiration and my strength, your strength is my strength to face everything we have faced, and I can say today, July 25, we have faced the worst aggression in history and today the people are standing, they are victorious and ready for the great victory next Sunday, July 28.”
At the same time, he stated that the people in the streets have expressed with one voice during their pilgrimage “that the fascists will not return.”
